The summer internship will provide you with a learning opportunity and practical introduction to Corporate Communication.
A function which aims to be an internationally leading communication unit. We safeguard and enhance the company's reputation in Norway and internationally with activities to support the realization of Equinor's strategy. As a summer intern in the Communication function you will be exposed to a variety of experiences within corporate media activities, stakeholder engagement and high priority corporate communication projects. A great opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues to expand your range of skills and competencies.
Disciplines within Communication are:
• Political and public affairs Norway
• Political and public affairs Global
• Media Relations
• Internal communication
• Brand communication
• Digital engagement
Our summer interns will work on multiple tasks throughout the business. Work tasks may vary according to your competence profile, assignment and business needs. Typical assignments can be:
• Work internally to execute on Equinor communication priorities in line with our values
• Analyze politics and policies and advice management
• Communication concepts and products in line with our strategic ambition
• Suggest and produce digital content for our various channels, especially to engage younger audiences in Norway
• Social Science
• Business administration
However, we are always looking for talented and capable individuals, and are interested in a broader specter of backgrounds.
No more than 1 year of full time relevant experience (please note research under a PhD are not be considered relevant experience)
Have completed at least 2 years of relevant bachelor studies by the time of the commencement of the internship, and are currently enrolled in a relevant study programme
Bachelors or Masters degree with good academic record
Fluent in English and preferably a second working language
Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage

• You have a positive attitude to take on new challenges and adapt to dynamic environments
