Kari Lunøe-Nielsen works as an assistant professor at the Department of Law at the School of Business and Law at the University of Agder. She holds a cand. jur-law degree from the University of Oslo. In addition she has 80 ECTS in Italian language. She teaches a wide range of legal subjects, but her main focus is employment and labor law. 

Lunøe-Nielsen heads the University of Agder’s bachelor and master program in law, which she helped establish in 2011 and 2023. From 2019 to 2021 she was also the head of the bachelor program in Economics and Administration. She is also the deputy chair of the Electoral Council at the University of Agder.
