MS Electrical Engineering (Microelectronics/VLSI) IIT Delhi
Ph.D. Electrical Engineering NTNU Trondheim
Biography:
I received PhD from the Department of electronics and telecommunications, NTNU, Trondheim, Norway. I worked for Texas Instruments in mixed signal circuit design before joining the PhD program at NTNU. After finishing PhD, I worked in radiation imaging for atmosphere space interaction monitor (ASIM mission to International Space Station) at University of Bergen, Norway from 2010 to 2012. I did one Master of Science in Physics from IIT Chennai (Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai) and the second Master of Science in Integrated Electronics and Circuits from IIT Delhi (Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi).
My current activities include teaching electronic circuit design courses (Analog, Digital and Mixed signal), embedded systems design courses, mmWave sensing and wireless prototyping using SDRs at masters and PhD level at University of Agder and guiding several undergraduate, graduate and PhD students in their theses.
My research activity focuses on foundational and applied research to solve cutting edge problems in the research areas of Cyber-Physical systems, Autonomous systems, Robotics and Automation involving advanced sensor systems, Computer vision, Thermal imaging, LiDAR imaging, Radar imaging, wireless sensor networks, smart electronic systems, advanced machine learning techniques, connected autonomous systems including drones/unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), unmanned underwater systems (UUSs), 5G- (and beyond) enabled autonomous vehicles, and Socio-Technical Systems like urban transportation systems, Smart Agriculture and Smart Cities.
I am serving as a Guest Editor for MDPI Electronics Special Issue "Sensors, Sensor Fusion, and Inter-connected Networked Autonomous Systems, Submissions until 31.12.2021"
I am Reviewer for:
